StudyStride Terms of Service

Service

StudyStride is a user-controlled browser capture and AI artifact service provided by Martlet Solutions. It can process microphone audio and authorized browser content to create transcripts, summaries, questions, Google Docs, audio exports, and visual PDF reviews. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed before relying on it.

Your responsibilities

You must use StudyStride lawfully, keep your account secure, and obtain any notice or consent required before recording another person or confidential material. Do not use StudyStride to capture content you are not authorized to access or process.

Subscriptions and renewal

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the interval shown before checkout and renew automatically until canceled. Before StudyStride begins adding sales tax at checkout, Martlet Solutions may absorb any applicable tax within the advertised price. After tax collection is activated, applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout. You can cancel or update a subscription from the StudyStride billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the paid period unless law requires otherwise. An active capture is not stopped solely because a billing boundary is reached.

Refunds

If a first paid subscription does not work for you, contact admin@studystride.ai within 14 days of the first charge to request a refund. Renewal charges and partially used billing periods are otherwise non-refundable except where required by law. Duplicate or unauthorized charges will be investigated promptly.

Allowances and availability

Plans may include monthly capture or artifact allowances. StudyStride may pause new processing at a published allowance or safety limit, but existing retained sessions remain available. Product features, third-party services, and AI models can change. We may suspend abusive or unsafe use.

Your data

You retain ownership of your content. You authorize StudyStride and its disclosed service providers to process it only to operate the requested workflow. Local retained evidence can be removed in the extension. StudyStride server records can be deleted from the account controls. Google Docs and Drive exports remain in your Google account until you delete them there. See the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and liability

StudyStride is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Martlet Solutions is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost data outside StudyStride’s control, or decisions made from unreviewed AI output. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Questions, cancellation help, and legal notices may be sent to admin@studystride.ai.
